Cancellation & Refund Policy
Later changes or downward adjustments to the number of guests of the reservation will be considered a late cancellation and a fee will be applied as below. An upward adjustment will be confirmed and charged based on the situation of actual availability.
- From 1 to 6 cabins
- Up to 20 days before your cruise date: Free of charge
- 15 -19 days before your cruise date: 50% of the total price
- 7 – 14 days before your cruise date: 70% of the total price
- Less than 7 days: Full charge
- Up to 6 cabins
- Up to 50 days before your cruise date: Free of charge
- 35 -50 days before your cruise date: 20% of the total price
- 20 -34 days before your cruise date: 50% of the total price
- 10 – 19 days before your cruise date: 70% of the total price
- Less than 10 days: Full charge
- Charter
- Up to 100 days before your cruise date: Free of charge
- 65 – 99 days before your cruise date: 50% of the total price
- 45 – 64 days before your cruise date: 70% of the total price
- 35 – 44 days before your cruise date: 90% of the total price
- Less than 35 days: Full charge
Refunds due to bad weather will be issued based on the length of the tour already completed.
*** In case of bad weather, the fee will be applied as follows:
All cruises in Ha Long Bay and Lan Ha Bay which want to stop overnight in the Bay must be licensed to manage the Bay and provide safe service.
In the days of bad weather (rainstorms, high winds, big waves, etc.), the Bay management board will consider giving a license or not to the overnight cruise provider to ensure the safety of tourists.
In such a case, we will apply the following policies:
- If you arrive at the harbor and have lunch, then go back to Hanoi, we will charge only 40 USD per person + the transfer (if taken).
- If you arrive at the harbor and have lunch, visit Halong bay within 5 hours, then go back to Hanoi, we will charge only 80 USD per person and the transfer (if taken).
- If you arrive at the harbor and have lunch, visit areas in the bay, stay overnight on a cruise, the next day, have breakfast and go sightseeing, have lunch, then go back to Hanoi, we will charge for the 2 days 1 night price for cruise trip + the transfer (if taken).
- If you arrive at the harbor and have a lunch, visit areas in the bay, stay overnight on a cruise, the next day have breakfast and go sightseeing, have lunch, visit the bay within 5 hours, then go back to Hanoi, we will charge for the 2 days 1 night price and 5 hours on a daily cruise trip, lunch, entrance fee + the transfer (if taken).
Note:
The Bay Management Board often gives notice to cancel the overnight sleep permit, possibly while you are on the tour. In such situations, we would like to ask for your understanding about it.
The rainy season from August to October in Ha Long Bay and Lan Ha Bay often has very unusual weather conditions, so overnight cruises in the bay can be canceled unexpectedly, and often with very late notice.

Newly married and we went with Halong Signature cruise. From start to finish we were treated very well. The transfer from Hanoi was very convenient, although half an hour stop off at a tourist trap was a little too much for us! Meals were always extravagant with multiple courses. Lots of seafood, but if you're not a fan the chefs were more than happy to prepare something else for you. The cooking demonstration was great and we got to have a go at making spring rolls which is something I had never done. Squid fishing was a highlight and our group caught loads on the first night. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend signature to family and friends
Signature Cruise is a winner
I really enjoyed our time with the Signature Cruise in Halong Bay. I would like to say a big thanks to all the crew both at the quayside and on the boats, with a special mention to the guides who work hard but always with a smile. The provide loads of local insight and information about the places we went to. The boat itself was really good and I really enjoyed the food also. Parts of the bay are getting quite polluted and surely the government will do something about that.

Just got back from a great holiday in Vietnam. We had a cruise in Halong Bay which was a real highlight. Wor Lass loved it as much as I did. Man it was fabulous. The whole trip was fantastic, mind, but the cruise in Halong Bay was just amazing. The scenery is great and the ship we were The Signature” was really great. I don’t know if we just dropped lucky or if they are all this good. Food and drink was top drawer and it was refreshing to be internet free for a few days. True relaxation.
Thoroughly recomended
The experience of a Halong Bay cruise is one that we would recommend to anyone, the treatment myself and my wife had on Signature cruise Halong was excellent. We dont know if all the cruise boats are as good, but we really liked this one. We were amazed at the size of the cabins and the quality of the food. The service has to get a mention as well. Everywhere we went in Vietnam the people were lovely and Halong Bay was just the same. We would recommend this cruise to anyone.
One night of perfection
Short and sweet. Only one night on Halong Signature, but it was perfect for our itinerary. Food was great and it afforded us the relaxation we really desired.
