- Await the collection of the guide and driver in your hotel lobby. Once they have arrived, we will begin our transfer to Hai Phong city.

- Rest at the harbour as the V’Spirit Premier Cruise completes its final preparations. We can board shortly after this and enjoy our welcome drink.

- Sit down in the dining room for a delicious lunch and a scrolling view of the wonderfully unique limestone towers outside the windows.

- On sampan boats, some residents of the bay will show us their home by taking us to the Dark & Bright caves, two gorgeous caverns with a vast and enclosed lake on the other side. Swimming is also available here.

- We return to the V’Spirit Premier Cruise to catch the daily spectacle of a gorgeous sunset, as well as happy hour at the bar.

- Along with a fantastic dinner, we have a very special performance of traditional Vietnamese music in the dining room or on the top deck. Before you retire to your cabin tonight, perhaps you would like to head to the bar, the spa (book in advance) or join the crew for some squid fishing.

- At your hotel lobby, the driver will to collect you and transfer you eastwards to Got Harbour.

- At Got Harbour, we rest up before boarding the V’Spirit Premier Cruise, where the staff will welcome us warmly before presenting us with welcome drinks.

- The captain begins our sailing into the evocative world of Lan Ha Bay as we watch through the dining room windows. A wonderful lunch will be served here while we cruise.

- For the early risers amongst our passengers, we will be holding a tai chi session on the sundeck. Join our onboard tai chi teacher as they take you through the basic steps.

- An excellent breakfast served in the dining room will come before you board the day boat and head over to Cat Ba Island.

- In the secluded eastern area of Cat Ba, we find the village of Viet Hai. We will take a walking tour around the gorgeous village and its attractively wild borders. After this, we take bicycles around the rainforest and rice fields of the local farmers.

- Once we get back to the day boat, we have a beautiful lunch while floating serenely on the water.

- Next area is Ba Trai Dao area. Take advantage of the tranquility here to kayak and swim in the remarkable quietness.

- After a relaxing time on the day boat, we rejoin the V’Spirit Premier Cruise and head back to our enchanting overnight area while happy hour begins again.

A friend of mine recommended this to me and she was absolutely right – V’Spirit Cruises are one of a kind! We had a great time on this beautiful ship, and we all thought our itnerary was just out of this world, with all those impossible rock formations all around us. I loved how clean and tidy they keep the whole ship, especially the bathrooms. And I think my bed must have been one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in! Really lovely all in all, highly recommended.

Lan Ha Bay is a place you must see at least once in your lifetime, and a V’Spirit Cruise is a great way to do it! We found the cruise to be managed to perfection, there isn’t much they could change about it or improve other than little details. On the whole, what they deliver is exactly what you need here, so definitely book with them.

I liked it how they catered for my special dietary requirements at no extra cost and I think you can see that kind of general attitude in their service – they are willing to go the extra mile to make you feel comfortable. Everyone on board is very kind and helpful, and the ship itself is just world-class and very pleasant to be in. Lovely room, super clean bathroom, terrific bed! Really impressive overall.

We were quite amazed at how smoothly everything went with the cruise. Our guide Mike did an outstanding job and the rest of the crew were excellent too. We can definitely recommend this to anyone looking for that perfect trip to this jaw-dropping area. See it from the deck of a lovely cruise ship! We also really enjoyed our little cave excursion, it was more exciting than we’d expected! The whole thing was well worth it overall, well-done!
