In Hanoi? Take a shuttle bus or private car from Hanoi city center to the cruise port with a travel time of around 4 hours.

However, if you arrive at the Hai Phong – Cat Bi Airport, you can take a taxi to the cruise check-in which takes approximately 45 minutes.

Alternatively, you may wish to fly to Quang Ninh – Van Don airport. Newly built and praised for its architecture and adoption of the latest technologies, Van Don international airport is 1 hour away from the cruise port by taxi, bus, or private transfer.

The Shuttle bus round trip service operated by cruise companies can pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi center. The cost is between $30 to $50 per guest depending on each cruise operator. The private car service operated by Halong Hub starts at $190 with 7 seaters for a round trip. Alternatively, you can take a local bus for less than $20.

Just make sure to be at check-in in Halong Bay 15 minutes before your departure time.
