Emperor Cruise offers a completely new concept tour of Halong Bay, and has redefined the meaning of the word “lavish”. The cruise has been designed to be reminiscent of the high-flying 1930s, and particularly of the luxurious life of the Emperor Bao Dai.
The glamorous cruise ship is adorned with gold leaf, plush velvet, delicate silks, and sparkling gemstones; calling this a ‘luxury’ cruise doesn’t even begin to cover it. This boutique cruise has just 8 private cabins, each one equipped with its own balcony and large windows offering sweeping views of the passing scenery.
Guests may also avail of the private butler service offered on board. The dining experience is one the crew claims to be “fit for an emperor”, with daily offerings that cater to both local and international tastes. Each meal is prepared with the freshest local ingredients, with an emphasis placed on seafood.
The work of famous Vietnamese artists hang on the walls, the wine chosen by skilled sommeliers, and the private butler is ready and waiting around the clock. The lavish life onboard the Emperor Cruise is much more than just a Halong tour, it is a lesson in history, a dive into aristocratic culture; it’s an experience of a lifetime.
Emperor Cruises has two types of packages: Full Board and All-Inclusive. Both include all meals, but only All-Inclusive packages offer beverages and massage services included as well. For those who booked Full Board, beverages and spa are available for purchase onboard, or you can also upgrade your package at any time.

All cruises in Ha Long Bay and Lan Ha Bay which want to stop overnight in the Bay must be licensed to manage the Bay and provide safe service.
In the days of bad weather (rainstorms, high winds, big waves, etc.), the Bay management board will consider giving a license or not to the overnight cruise provider to ensure the safety of tourists.
In such a case, we will apply the following policies:
Bad Weather Conditions: In case the cruise program is affected by bad weather, Heritage Cruises is entitled to cancel all or part of the cruise schedule. Surcharges will apply as follows:
- Cancellation before 11am on the departure date: Full refund.
- Lunch 2,000,000 VND per person will be charged if port authority cancels day or overnight cruise due to weather conditions, and the program is curtailed. The balance paid will be refunded.
- Day cruise program (if the program is curtailed and only lunch and 3-4-hour shore excursions are possible), the charge will be 3,000,000 VND/person/day. The balance paid will be refunded.

Note:
The Bay Management Board often gives notice to cancel the overnight sleep permit, possibly while you are on the tour. In such situations, we would like to ask for your understanding about it.
The rainy season from August to October in Ha Long Bay and Lan Ha Bay often has very unusual weather conditions, so overnight cruises in the bay can be canceled unexpectedly, and often with very late notice.

The best cruise
The most luxurious and amazing this cruise is. The crew was amazing. Just my dream! How exciting could I possibly be while completely enjoy the complimentary services as they’ve offered on board: free flow at dining, free massage after excursions… I have been also surprised since any of my personal request was fulfilled immediately. Best one
It was a great first and last trip. All staff are friendly and do their best to provide the best service. The best trip on my own. The cruise looked amazing with classic royal style. There are a couple of masterpiece paintings on wall which impressed me so much. Our trip was more special because Ann, the best guide, was there. Do not hesitate to make reservations here. It will be the best trip.

Amazing
Excellent experience on the boat. The crew provides careful attention. While it is more expensive than other boats I think it is worthwhile to enjoy this marvel of Bahia with this type of service. The room was dreamy. They made an improvement on what we had hired. We celebrated my wife’s birthday and had the cake detail and offer a celebration. We took advantage of everything they offered, the kayak, a short cooking class, and the visits. The food was good, and they have been in every detail at all times. The staff speaks English and there is no difficulty in understanding it. I highly recommend them.

New fantastic ship
As part of our Vietnam trip, we spent a night’s drive in Halong Bay. Through Ha Long Hub we came to the Emperor Cruises. We had an upgrade to the Kings Suite – indescribable! Pure luxury! The ship is large and yet only designed for about 15 people, you will be attentively cared for, the food was very good and the atmosphere on the ship was unique! We are really excited to spend the night in Halong Bay unforgettable.

Fantastic cruise
It was a very nice, unforgettable tour. Apart from the wonderful atmosphere of the ship and the nice food also because all staff were very friendly, easy going and attentive and we had a lot of fun on our different trips. What we really liked was the number of fellow travelers (maximum 12) which has led to the informal and nice conversation with the fellow travelers. Absolutely worth a visit are 2 nights. So all praise to all staff and especially to Jasmine with which we had a very nice and nice conversation.

Gorgeous Scenery
Anyone thinking of booking a cruise in Halong Bay should seriously consider Emperor Cruises. I have no idea if all the boats in the bay are to the same standard but Emperor was amazing. Sumptuous comfortable cabins, great food, wonderful service and polite efficient staff. As for the bay, well that his the same for everyone and it’s unbelievably beautiful. There is some problems with pollution, I guess some people will always throw rubbish. But I am told it is being addressed. All in all, a fantastic experience.

Wow! What a trip
As a single woman, travelling alone is always a stressful business. I am happy to say that everyone in Vietnam made it less so. It really was a care free time for me. The best part was the cruise that I booked with Emperor Cruises Halong Bay. It was so much fun and the other people on the trip made me very welcome. Meals are taken in a beautiful dining room with shared tables so I was made to feel really good as everyone included me in their conversations. The accommodation was terrific, food great and the trips out from the boat were interesting and scenic. This was a great start to what turned out to be an amazing holiday.

Perfect trip
We highly recommend your stay in Halong Bay aboard the Emperor. We stayed 2 nights aboard the Emperor. Everything is perfect … beautiful landscapes that we discover throughout the crossing that is the bridge, the room, the living room … even in his bathtub. The boat is spacious, it has 8 beautiful spacious rooms, a friendly crew, professional care for all, listening, good chef on board, a menu card to choose from … On the time on board several activities are offered, Vovinam exercise, massages , cooking class, … at no extra cost to pay … I highly recommend this company, everything is perfect !

Amazing value
The staff was so friendly from the pick up to the end. English speaking, accommodative and helpful in making our experience at Halong bay a memorable one. The cruise ship was outstanding, with exclusive destinations and breathtaking views. Once in a lifetime experience! The food was amazing, the massages are a must! Memorable experience
We’ve had the most amazing time in the cruise. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. Jasmine engaged in small talks with us which was good. Chris (Experience Manager) made sure all our needs were met. Tuyen (Vice Cruise Director) was awesome in showing us the live corals and other sea life around Bai Tu Long Bay during our kayaking. The other staff (whose names I cannot remember) deserve commendation because they cared about our safety. They were helpful in making sure we had our lifejackets and rain coats on and that we don’t slip going in and out of the boat.The facilities were excellent as they were always clean and well maintained. Most important is the food – absolute heaven are the seafood dishes especially the grilled lobster and abalone soup!The experience we had was truly memorable.

A magical cruise
We booked a 2 day cruise to Ha Long Bay this month. What a wonderful time !!Every detail addressed, all to the highest standards. The crew was wonderful. The rooms were fantastic. Extremely luxurious.The staff in particular were wonderful. They went well beyond expectations to make this a memorable experience. I truly wish we had taken a longer trip. Ha Long Bay was magical itself but my reason for wanting to take an extra day was the boat and the staff. It was like a marvelous 5 Star resort and we visited the location but didn’t get to enjoy the resort as much as we would have liked.Highest recommendations for Emperor Cruise!!

Fit for a King
For our anniversary my wife and I went to Vietnam. Among the many great things we experienced was three days in the most amazing luxury imaginable with Emperor Cruise Halong Bay. We managed to book the King Suite, the best cabin on board. It lived up to its name, this is fit for a King. We had the best of everything, incredible food and drinks and the truly spectacular scenery that Halong Bay provides. It did not surprise me to learn that it was named as one of The Seven Wonders of Nature” in a worldwide project. If you have a special reason to celebrate, I don’t think you could beat this experience.
