Nostalgia Cruise

We embarked on a two-day, one-night cruise. The vessel was charming, offering ample space. Our cabin was stunning and spacious, and the bed was so cozy that I enjoyed one of my best nights of rest. The bathroom was sophisticated and had abundant hot water. It was delightful to relax on our balcony with a coffee. The crew was exceptional, with Green taking excellent care of us. I would strongly recommend this cruise line.

The crew on the ship was exceptional! With just a handful of fellow travelers, the journey felt very personal. We all bonded wonderfully and shared many laughs while exploring the stunning Halong Bay. The accommodations were superb, featuring charming verandas perfect for enjoying the passing scenery. Although the food was delicious, the sheer quantity was overwhelming, as it seemed we were constantly eating from morning till evening! The shore excursion was incredibly enjoyable. On the final day, only six guests remained, allowing for plenty of friendly interactions with the delightful staff. Mel, the manager, was truly incredible, going above and beyond to ensure we felt at home!

Numerous cruise operators offer tours in Ha Long Bay, but the staff at Nostalgia cruise stood out for their friendliness and willingness to help throughout our journey, particularly Alex. From the transfers between Hanoi and the boat activities, everything was seamless. Their service was top-notch, and I highly suggest visiting the region.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience on the cruise! My partner has allergies, so neither of us can consume shellfish. The staff handled our dietary preferences without any problems, and we were so appreciative—the meals were scrumptious! It happened to be my birthday while we were on board, and the staff went above and beyond by decorating our table, surprising me with a cake, and even presenting me with a delightful gift! I was genuinely amazed by how exceptional it was. The entire crew was incredibly attentive and kind! We never found ourselves lacking anything! There was an abundance of food, and it was incredibly tasty! While the cocktails were pricier than in other places in Vietnam, that’s to be expected on a cruise—and they were delicious too! We joined in on the kayaking and cooking class and thoroughly enjoyed both. We opted out of hiking since we wanted to relax and instead appreciated the beautiful views from the boat’s rooftop. We had an extraordinary time, and our only regret is not booking the two-night option! If you’re undecided, definitely go for two nights—this cruise is truly unforgettable.

The scenery was breathtaking! The accommodations were incredibly cozy and spotless. The meals were scrumptious. Alex exceeded all expectations with outstanding service and a warm demeanor. The team was so welcoming.

From beginning to end, David, Bang, Vi Vi, and the rest of the team, whose names escape me, took excellent care of us. We chose the 2-night cruise, which I highly suggest, as a single night might feel too hurried. The meals were delightful. If anything doesn’t appeal to you on the menu, simply let them know, and they’ll happily offer an alternative.

The entire journey was incredible. The crew exceeded expectations to ensure our comfort. Our dining room host, Alex, was exceptional, and both the cuisine and service were fantastic. We enjoyed the most restful nights in the air-conditioned cabin.

We traveled on Nostalgia #2, and the staff were welcoming and attentive to our needs. The 2-day, 1-night journey was fantastic, and we would definitely suggest returning. Transfers were smooth, with no problems reaching the cruise. Colin and Kent were both delightful and friendly!

We embarked on a delightful one-night journey aboard this charming and cozy vessel. To our delight, we were upgraded to the King suite, which was tastefully adorned in a classic style, featuring a jacuzzi tub in the bathroom and a spacious private deck. Jimmy did a fantastic job as the cruise manager. We had a great time kayaking around the bay, and the sunrise tai chi session was a wonderful experience. The meals were abundant and beautifully arranged, primarily consisting of seafood, which we enjoyed, though it might not appeal to everyone. The restaurant staff provided excellent service, with Kent being particularly attentive. Dressing up in traditional attire for dinner was a lot of fun. Although we wished to cruise through more scenic areas, we spent considerable time anchored, which seemed to be common among all cruise lines. I’m pleased we selected Nostalgia, as their two ships only have 10 cabins each, unlike many others that accommodate more guests. The smaller vessels offer a more personalized experience.

We embarked on a 2-day, 1-night journey to celebrate a birthday and it was an unforgettable experience. The entire process was smooth and well-organized, and Vy Vy and Mr. Jimmy went above and beyond to ensure we felt special and celebrated. We highly recommend this trip to everyone.
