Day 1: Hanoi – Ha Long Bay – Lan Ha Bay
08h30: A luxury van picks you up at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter. Enjoy the landscape of the Red River Delta on the way to Ha Long Bay.
11h30: Arriving at Lot 32 – Tuan Chau Marina – have check-in procedures at the waiting lounge. You can take special tea at the lounge with a warm welcome.
12h15: Transfer to Orchid Cruises by a tender boat. Welcome aboard, we’ll have some welcome drinks and gather at the restaurant for a cruise briefing and some safety instructions.
13h00: Passengers will be taking lunch while we cruise and visit Ha Long Bay – Lan Ha Bay – one of the New Seven Wonders of Nature
15h00: Visit the quiet beach of Ba Trai Dao, known for its pristine beauty and tranquil atmosphere.
Enjoy kayaking and swimming in crystal-clear water surrounded by towering limestone mountains – an idyllic escape far from the crowds.
17h00: Orchid Cruises enters a less populated area at Tra Bau – Lan Ha Bay. Enjoy a nice swim in the green, emerald water.

Day 2: Ha Long Bay – Hanoi
06h30: It is a perfect time to refresh and indulge yourself in the peaceful beauty of the bay with a tai chi session on the sundeck.
If you want to hunt for dawn, get up from 5h30 to 6h00 depending
on the season, and consult our sailors.
07h00: We will have breakfast at the restaurant while continuing the cruise.
08h00: We progress to Trung Trang Cave by our bus on Cat Ba Island which is located in the middle of Cat Ba National Park with Kim Giao forest around the cave.
Trung Trang Valley is the largest valley on Cat Ba Island. The valley covers an area of approximately 300 hectares, has a depth of 10m to 30m and is around 15km in the middle of Cat Ba National Park.
Trung Trang Cave measures 300m lengthwise through the mountains. The cave was carved by nature for more than 2000 years. The cave has many stalactites that take on various shapes that will awe and inspire visitors to use their imagination

Day 2: Lan Ha Bay
06h30: The day starts early onboard Orchid Cruises with Tai Chi session on the sundeck. Breakfast is served in the dining room with morning view of Bay’s landscape, then continue our journey.
07h00: We will have breakfast at the restaurant while continuing the cruise.
08h00: Transfer to tender to visit Viet Hai village. You will take a bicycle trip along the village path and go through rainforests and dark tunnels. Enjoy the stunning scenery of rice fields on the way. Stop at the village to relax. Visit an ancient local house, made from straw, mud, and bamboo…you will have chance to see the local life on a valley of local people.
Optional electric car service is available (at an extra cost).
Back to day boat for visiting Lan Ha Bay. Lunch is served on day boat.
14h00: Visit Ba Trai Dao (Three peach islets), this peaceful body of water has beautiful scenery, making it the perfect place for scenic kayaking or relaxing on a sandy beach.
15h00: Return to Orchid Cruises. Enjoying swimming in the untouched area. Then, you will join a traditional cooking class. Our chef will instruct you in the making of some Vietnam dishes. Watch the magnificent sunset over the Gulf of Tonkin. In the early evening, the boat has its Happy Hour deal.
19h30: Fusion Dinner is served. Enjoy delicious local food prepared and served for you by our wonderful onboard catering staff. This is a delightful meal in an intimate romantic setting.
21h30: Enjoy the landscape of the bay at night up on the top deck. Relax whilst enjoying drinks from the bar. Try your hand at night squid fishing, watching a movie in the restaurant. Overnight on board.

Later changes or downward adjustments to the number of guests of the reservation will be considered a late cancellation and a fee will be applied as below. An upward adjustment will be confirmed and charged based on the situation of actual availability.

Refunds due to bad weather will be issued based on the length of the tour already completed.

All cruises in Ha Long Bay and Lan Ha Bay which want to stop overnight in the Bay must be licensed to manage the Bay and provide safe service.
In the days of bad weather (rainstorms, high winds, big waves, etc.), the Bay management board will consider giving a license or not to the overnight cruise provider to ensure the safety of tourists.
In such a case, we will apply the following policies:
- If you arrive at the harbor and have lunch, then go back to Hanoi, we will charge only lunch service + the transfer (if taken).
- If you arrive at the harbor and have lunch, visit Halong bay within 5 hours, then go back to Hanoi, we will charge only for the daily cruise trip, entrance fee, lunch and the transfer (if taken).
- If you arrive at the harbor and have lunch, visit areas in the bay, stay overnight on a cruise, the next day, have breakfast and go sightseeing, have lunch, then go back to Hanoi, we will charge for the 2 days 1 night price for cruise trip + the transfer (if taken).
- If you arrive at the harbor and have a lunch, visit areas in the bay, stay overnight on a cruise, the next day have breakfast and go sightseeing, have lunch, visit the bay within 5 hours, then go back to Hanoi, we will charge for the 2 days 1 night price and 5 hours on a daily cruise trip, lunch, entrance fee + the transfer (if taken).
Note:
The Bay Management Board often gives notice to cancel the overnight sleep permit, possibly while you are on the tour. In such situations, we would like to ask for your understanding about it.
The rainy season from August to October in Ha Long Bay and Lan Ha Bay often has very unusual weather conditions, so overnight cruises in the bay can be canceled unexpectedly, and often with very late notice.

We arranged a one-night voyage to HaLong Bay departing from Hanoi with Orchid Cruises (Classic). Our group included two adults and three teenagers, who exclaimed, “This is the best cruise I’ve ever experienced and will ever experience!” Upon our arrival, we were greeted with delightful drinks and a warm welcome. The staff throughout our journey were incredibly friendly and attentive, with Sky going above and beyond to cater to our needs. Hardy entertained us with astonishing magic tricks that left us in awe.
