Doria Cruise

I took my parents on this cruise, and they enjoyed it more than I expected. The staff helped them onboard and checked if they needed anything throughout the trip. Our cabins were side by side, just as Hannah arranged. Meals were tasty and not too heavy, which suited my parents. The only issue was that the staircase between decks is a bit steep, so elderly travelers should take their time. Otherwise, a lovely, gentle itinerary perfect for families.

The Doria Cruise surprised me in a good way. I expected a very budget feel, but the ship was actually quite charming. Kayaking was the highlight for me, the water was smooth and the landscape dramatic. My cabin was comfortable, though the pillow was softer than I prefer. The schedule was not rushed, and the crew coordinated everything efficiently. I appreciate Hannah’s honest advice when I booked, she did not oversell anything. A solid mid range cruise with attentive staff.

Traveling solo, I was nervous about joining a cruise, but Doria’s crew made me feel at ease immediately. Hannah assured me it would be a friendly environment, and she was right. I met several other solo travelers onboard. My cabin was quiet and spotless. Activities were optional, so nobody pressured me to join everything. Food was flavorful and well portioned. I would prefer a bit more shade on the sundeck, but that is my only complaint. Perfect for solo travelers seeking a safe, social atmosphere.

Jason is a friendly staff member, and the place is wonderful. I truly had a great time and would love to return. Every staff member was pleasant to interact with, and the environment was tidy and cozy 🌴🚢🛟

I booked through HalongHub because I did not want to deal with comparing too many options, and Hannah made it incredibly straightforward. She suggested Doria for its balance between price and quiet itinerary. The boat delivered exactly that. I appreciated the warm towels after kayaking and the attentive service at meals. The room was comfortable, though I recommend choosing an upper deck cabin for better views. Overall, a very relaxing experience with no surprises.

Fantastic cruise experience, both day and night on Ha Long Bay were incredibly soothing. Rosie and the entire crew on the ship ensured we felt completely pampered.

I have wanted to see Ha Long for years, but several friends recommended Lan Ha instead. Doria Cruise made me glad I chose this route. The water was calmer and less busy. My cabin was nicely decorated, and the bathroom was surprisingly modern. The staff were lovely, though English communication sometimes required patience. Hannah set everything up clearly, including dietary notes. Dinner was my favorite meal, beautifully arranged and delicious. Bring sunscreen for kayaking, the sun is strong even on cloudy days.

The journey was truly enjoyable, with the staff being exceptionally friendly and helpful. Although it’s pricey, it’s definitely worth the cost. Squid, Sam, and William were some of the most pleasant crew members I’ve encountered in quite a while, and I would happily choose this experience again.
