Day 1: Ha Long Bay - Lan Ha Bay - Tra Bau

08.45 – 09.15: Pick up from Hanoi ( If you book our limousine bus/regular private car)

12.00 – 12.30: Check in Reception at dock 36 Tuan Chau

12.30 – 12.45: Leaving dock to cruise in the bay

13.30: Check in Cruise and Have lunch (Buffet)

13.45: Have lunch (Buffet)
14.30: After lunch time, check in and rest.
15.15 – 17.00: (Finished cruising)
We have 3 options for you:
Option 1: We do swimming from Doria Cruise

Option 2: 15.15 – 16.15 We will go to the kayaking area by the tender boat (small boat) and do kayaking and after that we comeback to the main Doria Cruise and try swimming. If you want to do kayaking, please be on time. We have only 1 boat to transfer you to the kayaking area.

Option 3: Use the Jacuzzi (Located at the prow of the 3rd deck), or you can do sunbathing on the Sundeck. At the Reception We Provide: Life jackets, Towel. Meeting point: The Reception (The back of Deck 2)

17.30 – 18.45: Enjoy the Sunset Party: cakes, peanut, fruit, tea for Complementary and join the cooking demonstration, happy hour and relax.

19.00: Have dinner (Set Menu).

20.15: Evening entertainments: squid fishing, or the jacuzzi, karaoke, relax and spend the night on the Doria Cruise.

21.00 – 22.30: Happy Hour (Buy 2 get 1 more free) If you want to enjoy karaoke, please tell our restaurant team after your dinner. And we will support you to try it at the restaurant.

Day 2: Lan Ha Bay - Dark Bright Cave - Ha Long Bay

06.15: Practice Taichi on the Sundeck

7.00 – 7.45: Have breakfast (Buffet): Eggs cake, coffee… You could skip it if you want to sleep more.

7.50: Leaving for visiting Dark & Bright cave area by the tender boat. You will have an experience with a rowboat (rowed by the local people) to relax.

Please be on time! Because if you are late we can not come back to pick you up. And sometimes when the tide is low we can not go inside the Bright Cave.

Please remember if you want to visit the Dark & Bright cave area, you will have 45 minutes for breakfast. And if you don’t want to go there, you will have 1 hour for your breakfast

10.00: Check your cabin out. Please put your luggage in front of the door, in the hallway then return your room key to the receptionist, take good care of your important belongings.

10.15: Have lunch at the restaurant and settle your bar bills there.

11.15: Leave Doria Cruise to get onto the transfer boat and go back to the Tuan Chau Marina.

12.10: Be at the Tuan Chau Marina.

06.15: Practice Taichi on Sundeck.

7.00 – 8.00: Have breakfast. Prepare to bring: Swimsuits, cameras or cellphones, sandals or shoes, warm clothes (depends on the weather), sunglasses, cash if you buy drinks… Hang houseskeeping Card please

8.20 – 9.10: Getting on the daily boat to Viet Hai Village.

10.30 – 12.00: Options:
Option 1: Do cycling around Viet Hai Village.

Option 2: Use electric car to visit Viet Hai Village.

12.00 – 13.20: Have lunch on the daily boat.

13.30 – 15.30: Kayaking and swimming around hidden. Islands to explore the beauty and the hidden charm of Lan Ha bay.

16.30 – 17.00: Back to Doria Cruise. From then and onward, please check the activities on the first day out.

Day 3: Lan Ha Bay - Dark Bright Cave - Ha Long Bay

I went solo and asked Hannah for something not too crowded, and Doria was exactly that. The transfer arrived on time, and check-in was calm without pushing people through like a factory line. My cabin had big windows and a surprisingly spacious bathroom for this price range. Nighttime on deck was peaceful, and the staff made sure everyone knew safety rules before leaving the harbor. The squid fishing attempt was more fun than successful, but that’s part of the charm. Food leaned toward Vietnamese flavors and felt fresh, though I wish breakfast had a few more options. For future travelers, pick a cabin on the second deck if you want a quieter stay. I’d happily book this again.

This was my second time in Ha Long Bay and I chose Doria thanks to Hannah’s quick replies and clear breakdown of what was included. She even reminded me about the weather and helped me adjust expectations. The ship looked freshly maintained, and cleanliness was genuinely impressive, no mildew smell, which I’ve experienced on cheaper boats. Dinner service was fast and portions more than enough. The cooking demo was fun but short; still, the staff made it lively. The only thing I wish had been better was the timing of the cave visit, which felt a bit rushed because several boats arrived at once. But overall, the service felt personal, and the value for the price was strong. I’d recommend Doria for couples or small groups looking for a stable, comfortable mid-range cruise.

I booked the Doria Cruise through HalongHub after chatting with Hannah, who honestly made the whole process much easier than I expected. She helped me compare a few mid-range options and suggested Doria because I wanted something quiet, clean, and not too big. That advice turned out to be exactly right. Boarding felt smooth and organized, and the crew helped everyone with luggage without rushing us. My cabin was brighter than I imagined from the photos, and on the first night I slept surprisingly well, just a soft hum from the generator but nothing disruptive. Meals were generous and flavorful, especially the seafood lunch. The kayaking session in the afternoon was my favorite part; the water was calm and the area wasn’t crowded. If I had to pick one downside, the Wi-Fi signal was weak in my cabin, but honestly it was a nice excuse to disconnect. This cruise is great for people who want a peaceful overnight trip, and my tip would be to wake up early for sunrise on the top deck, it’s worth it every time.
