I loved the atmosphere on Indochine Cruise. It feels elegant without being too formal. The staff were welcoming and friendly. Kayaking at Dark and Bright Cave was a highlight for me. I also enjoyed the cooking class at sunset and the quiet time spent squid fishing afterward. The second day at Viet Hai Village was very memorable, especially seeing how peaceful the village is. Drinks were a bit pricey, but Hannah recommended this ship well.

My girlfriend and I booked Indochine Cruise for our anniversary and it turned out perfect. The room was spacious and felt luxurious. Hannah arranged a great balcony cabin for us. Kayaking near Dark and Bright Cave was relaxing and scenic. The visit to Viet Hai Village the next day gave us a nice break from the boat and the biking path was easy to follow. We also joined Tai Chi once which was fun to try. Breakfast felt a bit early, but everything else was wonderful.

I loved the vintage atmosphere of Indochine Cruise. The cabin was warm and traditional while still very comfortable. Hannah helped with the booking, and everything went smoothly. Kayaking at the Dark and Bright Cave area was peaceful and easy. The next day I enjoyed visiting Viet Hai Village and riding through the quiet village path which felt very authentic. Tai Chi at sunrise was gentle and refreshing. Wi Fi was slow, but that did not matter much.

Indochine Cruise was an amazing start to my Vietnam trip. The ship feels elegant and spacious. Hannah from HalongHub suggested it when she heard I wanted something classic in style. On the first afternoon I enjoyed the buffet lunch and later paddled around Dark and Bright Cave which was a fantastic way to see the limestone cliffs up close. The cooking demonstration and squid fishing added a nice touch to the evening. The visit to Trung Trang Cave on the last morning was a great finale. The only minor issue was the transfer taking longer due to traffic.

We traveled as two friends and wanted something laid-back with decent food and not too touristy. Indochine hit all the right notes. The rooms were cozy, the sundeck spacious, and the staff very kind. I liked that the meals were served thoughtfully and not buffet-style, it felt more personal. Activities weren’t forced, and you could skip kayaking if you preferred to relax. Hannah from HalongHub managed our booking efficiently and even arranged for vegetarian meals for me. The bay was quieter than we expected, especially in the early morning. I’d do this again, maybe for two nights next time. If you want something balanced and charming, this is a great choice.

I get seasick easily, so I was worried, but Indochine Cruise was surprisingly steady and gentle. I took motion pills just in case, but I honestly didn’t need them. The cruise route through Lan Ha Bay is calmer than the main Ha Long route, and the boat barely rocked. My partner and I enjoyed the traditional design, soft instrumental music in the common areas, and how clean everything was. The meals were balanced and satisfying, not over-the-top fancy, but carefully made. The crew even packed ginger candy for anyone feeling unwell. Hannah had been very clear about what to expect and suggested this specific boat because of the bay’s calm waters. It really helped make the trip relaxing.

This cruise really respects your time and space. No blaring announcements, no cheesy shows, just calm, natural beauty and a bit of gentle culture. We kayaked, walked through a cave, and tried a spring roll demo. Everything was optional and spaced out. Our deluxe room was spotless and had a gorgeous wooden finish with a view that changed every minute. Meals were served with care, the staff even remembered our coffee preferences the second morning. Hannah had told us it would be a calm cruise, and it was exactly that. Highly recommend for introverts or anyone needing peace.

Hannah suggested this cruise after we said we wanted a more peaceful experience for our honeymoon, and wow, it was perfect. Indochine Cruise has this warm, vintage charm that felt really romantic. Our room had rose petals on the bed when we arrived, and they brought out a small cake after dinner as a surprise. We loved the private moments watching the bay from our balcony and the quiet morning Tai Chi on the deck. It wasn’t overly fancy but had everything we needed: good food, kind crew, and a beautiful setting. Definitely ideal for couples.

We only had one night to spend on the bay, and Indochine made sure every hour counted. The timing of the activities was well thought out, kayaking in the late afternoon when the light was soft, dinner at sunset, and then stargazing on the top deck. The cruise had a small group feel and never felt overcrowded. Our room had a soft bed, quiet AC, and big windows. I’m glad Hannah helped us avoid the larger, flashier boats, this felt more authentic and intimate. Next time we’re in Vietnam, we’ll go for the 2-night version.

The best part of Indochine Cruise was simply sitting still. We spent hours on the top deck just watching the scenery glide past. The limestone formations were surreal, especially in the early morning mist. Our room was comfortable and had real wood flooring and panels, which gave it a classic vibe. We skipped the kayaking and just enjoyed tea and books. The meals were well-paced and the staff never hovered but were always nearby if we needed anything. Hannah took care of our preferences in advance, and everything went smoothly. For anyone looking for serenity, this is it.
