It’s rare to find service that feels both professional and personal, but that’s exactly what Indochine offered. The crew remembered our names by the second meal and even remembered my wife doesn’t eat shellfish. The boat is very well maintained, with old-world charm and modern comfort. The pace of the cruise was gentle, and we always felt like we had enough space, both physically and mentally. Our cabin had wide windows that gave us a constant view of the passing cliffs. The cave was beautiful and not too busy. Thanks to Hannah’s recommendation, this felt like the perfect choice.

Verified Customer Reviews
We didn’t want a big or flashy cruise, so we went with Indochine based on reviews, and it turned out to be the highlight of our Vietnam trip. The boat was clean, cozy, and not trying too hard. Just natural beauty, good food, and peaceful time on the water. I especially loved the sundeck loungers and how the lighting at night made the whole ship glow softly. There was no pressure to do anything, just gentle encouragement to enjoy. Hannah answered every question we had before booking and gave us peace of mind.
There was a minor issue with water pressure in our bathroom, but staff fixed it quickly without making a fuss. Otherwise, everything about Indochine was lovely. The vibe is traditional and elegant, and the bay route is scenic without being crowded. We had a sweet crew member named Linh who always had a smile and helped my mother carry her bag during the cave walk. It’s little things like that that stay with you. Thanks to Hannah for the smooth booking and clear itinerary. Would recommend to anyone who prefers calm over chaos.
We celebrated our honeymoon on Indochine Cruise and it was exactly the peaceful experience we were hoping for. The crew welcomed us warmly and had decorated our room with petals and candles. It felt intimate and thoughtful. The ship has an old-world beauty with dark wood interiors and soft lighting. Activities like kayaking and the cooking demo were fun but not rushed. The food was excellent, especially the grilled fish and mango sticky rice. Hannah from HalongHub helped us pick the right room and even arranged a surprise cake on the second night. Truly memorable.
This cruise offers really good value. It’s not ultra-luxury, but it’s elegant and comfortable. The views from the deck were stunning, especially at sunset. We had a quiet group, and the staff maintained a peaceful atmosphere the whole time. The highlight was definitely the kayak ride, calm, quiet waters with towering limestone cliffs all around. I liked that meals were served at the table and not buffet style. Hannah handled our booking fast and clearly, and the driver she arranged was on time. For mid-range pricing, this is a solid option.
We tried squid fishing in the evening and while we didn’t catch anything, it was such a fun, low-pressure activity. Earlier in the day we had kayaked, relaxed on the sundeck, and explored a cave, all nicely paced and not crowded. Our room was cozy and quiet at night. The crew always greeted us with smiles and offered help whenever needed. Hannah was responsive before the trip and answered all our questions clearly. This cruise is perfect if you want some soft adventure mixed with total relaxation.
I can’t describe how stunning the bay looked in the early morning light. We woke up early, grabbed a coffee, and watched the cliffs emerge from the fog, it felt surreal. Indochine Cruise gave us so much time to enjoy moments like that. The boat was clean and smelled fresh, our room had a great view, and the staff were incredibly polite. The cooking class was short but fun. Hannah’s advice to choose this route over Ha Long Bay proper really paid off, Lan Ha was peaceful and free of traffic.
I wasn’t sure how the wifi would work but it was stronger than expected, good enough to send photos and messages. That aside, the whole cruise was a welcome escape. It felt slow, elegant, and well run. Staff were attentive, and everything was done with a light touch. The bay views are even better than the photos. Thank you to Hannah for suggesting Indochine when I said I wanted something small, quiet, and authentic. It delivered.
We booked last minute and were lucky Hannah found us a spot. Everything from transfers to check-in was smooth. The boat had fewer people than I expected, which was nice. Our room was clean, the food was well-cooked, and the staff were gentle and respectful. Kayaking was easy, even for someone like me who hadn’t done it in years. For a quiet break in beautiful scenery, this cruise really delivers.
This cruise gave us the perfect mix of doing and not doing. Kayaking, exploring a cave, then relaxing on the upper deck with a drink. We’re not high-energy travelers, so this itinerary was ideal. The wood decor felt warm and homely, and the staff were great at remembering small things, like our coffee preferences and seating choice. Hannah made the whole process easy. We’ll book again next year.
