HURRICANE CANCELLATION POLICY
In case of force majeure due to the bad weather, customers had to temporarily stop using our services because Board of management in Hai Phong bay suddenly does not allow vessels operate in the Gulf. So we would like to send customers some notification to apply in the following situations:
- Guests eat lunch (only) on boat.
- Price: 45$/pax
- Including: Room services, Lunch, Drinks (1 mineral water + 1 soft drink)
- Guests eat lunch and cruise the Bay within 4 to 5 hours (depend on Hai Phong bay Management policy)
- Price: 80$/pax
- Including: Entrance and Sightseeing Fees, Room services, Lunch, Drinks (1 mineral water + 1 soft drink)
- Guests book 3D2N program and had to return on the second day
- Return at noon (11a.m or 12a.m): Charge the same price as the 2D1N program
- Return after eating lunch: Charge the same price as the 2D1N program and add 45$/pax

There was a minor issue with water pressure in our bathroom, but staff fixed it quickly without making a fuss. Otherwise, everything about Indochine was lovely. We celebrated our honeymoon on Indochine Cruise and it was exactly the peaceful experience we were hoping for. The crew welcomed us warmly and had decorated our room with petals and candles. This cruise offers really good value. It’s not ultra-luxury, but it’s elegant and comfortable. The views from the deck were stunning, especially at sunset. We had a quiet group, and the staff maintained a peaceful atmosphere the whole time. The highlight was definitely the kayak ride, calm, quiet waters with towering limestone cliffs all around. We tried squid fishing in the evening and while we didn’t catch anything, it was such a fun, low-pressure activity. Earlier in the day we had kayaked, relaxed on the sundeck, and explored a cave, all nicely paced and not crowded. Our room was cozy and quiet at night. I can’t describe how stunning the bay looked in the early morning light. We woke up early, grabbed a coffee, and watched the cliffs emerge from the fog, it felt surreal. Indochine Cruise gave us so much time to enjoy moments like that. The boat was clean and smelled fresh, our room had a great view, and the staff were incredibly polite. The cooking class was short but fun. Hannah’s advice to choose this route over Ha Long Bay proper really paid off, Lan Ha was peaceful and free of traffic.
