Indochine Cruise might not be the flashiest boat, but it’s one of the most charming I’ve ever been on. Everything felt just right, the woodwork, the smiles from the crew, the pacing of the trip. Nothing rushed, nothing forced. We left feeling recharged and grateful. Special thanks to Hannah for steering us toward this option instead of something more commercial.

This was my second time cruising in Vietnam, and Indochine was miles better than the first. The boat was quiet, clean, and had a gentle pace. The crew spoke enough English to explain things clearly, and they made adjustments for my food allergies without fuss. I especially appreciated the attention to small details, towels on the deck chairs, cool water after kayaking. Thanks to Hannah for the smooth booking!

The bay was overcast during our trip, but honestly, it added to the mystery. The limestone cliffs looked even more dramatic under grey skies. The boat felt warm and cozy, and we loved drinking hot tea on the deck. The staff provided umbrellas for the cave walk and were so kind throughout. We’d go again, maybe in summer, but even in shoulder season, this was lovely.

I wasn’t expecting to enjoy the cruise this much, but Indochine completely changed my mind. The wooden interior, dim lighting, and warm staff made it feel like we’d stepped back in time, in a good way. We booked through Hannah, who answered our questions quickly and gave honest advice about cabin types. I’m glad we took the deluxe balcony room because we spent a lot of time just sitting there, watching the bay. The itinerary is well balanced: a bit of kayaking, a cave visit, and some quiet time on the sundeck. The cooking class was fun and not too serious, just enough to try something new. What stood out most to me was the crew’s kindness and efficiency. They helped with everything without making a fuss. If you want to avoid big cruise crowds and enjoy a slow-paced, charming experience, this is it.

I traveled solo and chose Indochine Cruise after chatting with Hannah at HalongHub. She understood that I wanted peace, comfort, and a more classic wooden boat rather than something too modern or flashy. The cruise was beautiful from start to finish. My cabin was surprisingly spacious and had big windows with views I couldn’t stop looking at. The wooden interior gave the whole ship a cozy, timeless charm. Meals were tasty and well-portioned, with some great seafood and a little cooking demo before dinner. I also liked that there wasn’t any pushy upselling or pressure to join every activity. I ended up doing kayaking and the cave walk, but skipped the early tai chi and just enjoyed the quiet of the top deck. Staff were polite and never intrusive, and the whole vibe was calm and relaxing. I’d recommend this for solo travelers or couples looking to unwind in a scenic and quiet setting.

This was our first time to Ha Long Bay, and we were honestly a bit overwhelmed by how many cruises there are. But Hannah from HalongHub was patient with our questions and recommended Indochine Cruise for something mid-range with charm, and it was exactly that. The boat has a traditional wooden design with modern comforts. Our room had a private balcony and the view when we woke up the next morning was just breathtaking. The itinerary was calm and not overpacked. We did kayaking, squid fishing, and had plenty of time to just sit on the deck with tea and enjoy the view. The meals were great, not overly fancy but fresh and flavorful. The staff were attentive but low-key, which we liked. They even surprised us with a small cake for our anniversary! It was thoughtful touches like that that made the experience feel special. Highly recommend this cruise if you want quiet elegance without a huge price tag.

Indochine Cruise gave us a peaceful break from our busy Vietnam itinerary. We were looking for something slower paced and scenic, and this delivered. The rooms were larger than we expected and had a warm, cozy style with wood-paneled walls and nice bedding. The highlight was definitely kayaking in the hidden lagoons, so quiet, you could hear birds echoing through the cliffs. The food was well prepared and tasted home-cooked in the best way. I also loved the little extras, like welcome drinks, cool towels, and an afternoon snack on deck. Hannah was the one who helped us book it, and I’m grateful for her honesty. She didn’t oversell anything and told us exactly what to expect. No surprise charges, clear pickup times, and she even followed up after the trip. For anyone who wants a classic, comfortable cruise with genuine service and beautiful scenery, I’d recommend Indochine.

I took my parents on Indochine Cruise and it was perfect for them. The staff helped them on and off the boat and even offered chairs with back support during meals. The itinerary was relaxed and senior-friendly, and they both enjoyed the cave visit and watching the bay from the top deck. The food was clean and well presented, not too spicy, and they were careful with dietary needs. Our room was simple but very comfortable, and I loved that we could open the big windows and feel the sea breeze in the morning. It didn’t feel overly touristy or rushed. Hannah from HalongHub helped me book and was always quick to reply. She suggested Indochine because we didn’t want anything too crowded or modern, and it was a great fit. I’d absolutely recommend this for families with older parents or anyone looking for a quieter, thoughtful cruise experience.

The Indochine Cruise was our favorite experience in northern Vietnam. The boat had so much character, all dark wood and soft lighting, like something from a movie. We booked a deluxe room and it had a small balcony where we watched the sunset with a drink. The bay was calm, the itinerary easygoing, and we never felt rushed. Kayaking through the limestone formations was unforgettable. I also appreciated the safety briefings and how the staff paid attention to guests’ comfort. One night was enough to experience a lot, but we still wished we had booked two nights just to linger longer. Hannah helped us plan every step, from transportation to cabin choice, and her advice was super practical. This is a great cruise for couples or anyone wanting to unwind and enjoy the natural scenery without big crowds or noisy tours.

We were lucky to have good weather for our Indochine Cruise, and everything looked even more beautiful in the sun. The staff welcomed us warmly and the boat had a lovely fragrance of wood and lemongrass. Our room was bigger than expected, and the view through the big windows was a constant highlight. Meals were well timed and portions generous, the grilled shrimp and lemongrass chicken were especially good. We tried squid fishing in the evening (didn’t catch any!) and enjoyed stargazing from the sundeck instead. Hannah made sure we had a smooth pickup from Hanoi, and everything ran like clockwork. This cruise is ideal for people who don’t want loud parties or overly commercial experiences. It feels local, slow, and authentic in the best way. We’ve already recommended it to two other couples.
