08:00 – 08:50 A limousine bus picks the guests up at your hotel in the old quarter, Opera
House, or at No.16 Thi Sach, Hai Ba Trung, Hanoi. (There would be an additional
charge for a shuttle bus if it is booked from other sides of Hanoi).
12:00 – 12:30 Check-in aboard at Sun World International Terminal with a welcome drink
from a member of our crew while the manager delivers the safety briefing
and the boat cruises onward to Bai Tu Long Bay.
13:15 Lunch will be served at the cruise restaurant.
15:30 Visiting Vung Vieng floating fishing village, one of the biggest villages in Bai
Tu Long Bay, you will have a chance to learn about the life of fishermen and
feel free with some optional activities: bamboo boat or kayaking.
17:30 – 18:30 Enjoy the gorgeous sunset over the bay and join “Happy Hour”.

Day 2: Bai Tu Long Bay – Thien Canh Son Cave
6:00 Begin the day full of energy with the Tai Chi session and enjoy the sun just
rising beyond the horizon.
6:45 – 7:15 Light breakfast will be served in the cruise restaurant. (Breakfast time maybe
adjust and follow the real itinerary)
7:30 – 9:00 Discover Thien Canh Son cave, which is located on the mountain’s crest and
has a long history of geological significance and natural beauty. We recommend
bringing a camera and trekking in sports shoes.
9:00 – 9:30 Back to the main boat for relaxing and check out at the reception, please
put all your luggage outside of your cabin door, crew members will help to
bring luggage on land.
9:45 Brunch will be served in the restaurant while the boat heads back to the
harbor.
10:30 – 11:00 Disembark the Lily Cruises and transfer back to Sun World International
Terminal. Relax and wait for the luggage.
11:30 – 12:00 The guests are ready at Sun World International Terminal.

8:30 – 8:50 A limousine bus picks the guests up at your hotel in the old quarter, Opera House or at No.16 Thi Sach, Hai Ba Trung, Hanoi. (There would be an additional charge for a shuttle bus if it booked from Hanoi).
12:00 – 12:30 You will check in at Halong International Cruise Port and be greeted with a welcome drink.
13:15 You will enjoy lunch at the onboard restaurant and admire the famous beauty of Bai Tu Long Bay – one of the most beautiful bays in the world voted by the Association of the World’s Most Beautiful Bays Club.
15:30 Visit Vung Vieng, a floating fishing village, one of the largest villages in Halong Bay. You will have the opportunity to learn about the life of fishermen and participate in optional activities such as canoeing or kayaking.
17:30 – 18:30 Soak up the beautiful sunset over the bay and join the “Happy Hour”. There is also a cooking class with spring rolls, a specialty of Vietnamese cuisine for
you to join.
19:30 Dinner will be served at the restaurant on board the Lily Cruise.
21:00 – 22:00 Experience the nightlife on Bai Tu Long Bay from the deck, and relax with music and drinks at the bar. 7:30 – 12:00 Transfer to a day boat to explore the pristine area of Bai Tu Long Bay – Cong Dam Area. Kayaking by yourself to explore the breathtaking scenery.
12:00 Return to the cruise to enjoy lunch on board for the day. When the cruise departs towards Bai Tu Long – the hidden gem of Ha Long Complex, immerse yourself in the splendor of the scenery here.
15:00 Head back to Lily Cruise to relax
17:30 – 19:00 Soak up the beautiful sunset over the bay and join the “Happy Hour”. You also can join a cooking class with spring rolls, a specialty of Vietnamese cuisine.

All cruises in Ha Long Bay and Lan Ha Bay which want to stop overnight in the Bay must be licensed to manage the Bay and provide safe service.
In the days of bad weather (rainstorms, high winds, big waves, etc.), the Bay management board will consider giving a license or not to the overnight cruise provider to ensure the safety of tourists.
In such a case, we will apply the following policies:
- If you arrive at the harbor and have lunch, then go back to Hanoi, we will charge only lunch service + the transfer (if taken).
- If you arrive at the harbor and have lunch, visit Halong bay within 5 hours, then go back to Hanoi, we will charge only for the daily cruise trip, entrance fee, lunch and the transfer (if taken).
- If you arrive at the harbor and have lunch, visit areas in the bay, stay overnight on a cruise, the next day, have breakfast and go sightseeing, have lunch, then go back to Hanoi, we will charge for the 2 days 1 night price for cruise trip + the transfer (if taken).
- If you arrive at the harbor and have a lunch, visit areas in the bay, stay overnight on a cruise, the next day have breakfast and go sightseeing, have lunch, visit the bay within 5 hours, then go back to Hanoi, we will charge for the 2 days 1 night price and 5 hours on a daily cruise trip, lunch, entrance fee + the transfer (if taken).
Note:
The Bay Management Board often gives notice to cancel the overnight sleep permit, possibly while you are on the tour. In such situations, we would like to ask for your understanding about it.
The rainy season from August to October in Ha Long Bay and Lan Ha Bay often has very unusual weather conditions, so overnight cruises in the bay can be canceled unexpectedly, and often with very late notice.

Our time on board was fantastic. The team was incredible; a big thank you to Hugo, Hellen, and Liana for their outstanding service. The meals were tasty, though we wished there was a stronger emphasis on Vietnamese flavors instead of European dishes. The upper deck offered plenty of room to relax with a drink while taking in the views. We truly enjoyed our three-day experience and wholeheartedly recommend it.

We booked our cruise through halongbaytours.com, opting for Lily Cruise. Upon arrival, we were informed that “Aquamarine” was essentially the same company. However, it wasn’t until boarding that we realized we’d been switched to the Aquamarine Cruise! So, this review reflects our experience on Aquamarine, even though we initially chose Lily because it was a newer vessel. Our cabin on the Aquamarine was spacious and comfortable, with excellent air conditioning. Unfortunately, our location on the ship exposed us to loud karaoke music until about 10 p.m., making it impossible to sleep early. Around 11 p.m., chairs began scraping across the floor above us. Lunch started off promisingly with a buffet featuring seafood and Vietnamese dishes, raising our expectations. Sadly, the meals went downhill from there. Dinner included undercooked fish that couldn’t be eaten, and the steak the next evening was so tough it couldn’t be cut with the provided knife. We wished they had stuck to the Vietnamese cuisine they excelled at. Breakfasts and subsequent lunches were merely okay. We were on a 2-night, 3-day cruise and found ourselves as the only couple on the first night, surrounded by larger groups. Additionally, we were the only ones on the 2-night itinerary. Unfortunately, we were overlooked and didn’t receive itineraries until we asked, reminding them of our extended stay. Without our intervention, I’m sure they would have sent us back a day early! Overall, considering the cost, it was an average experience. I’d suggest exploring other options since many companies are available. Be cautious with reviews too; we were encouraged to alter our honest feedback for a can of Coke! 🤣
