We booked the cruise at the last minute through our hotel and it was a great experience ever. We can’t say enough good things about the crew on Mon Chéri. They were excellent, friendly and attentive, they took great care of us all the time. Our room was very comfortable and clean, with great view to outside. Kayaking and cave excursion were both interesting and fun. We loved our cruise and would certainly come back!

Mon Chéri Cruise is one of the most luxurious five-star cruises in Halong Bay which was voted one of the seven New Wonders in the world. Newly launched in early 2018, Mon Chéri Cruise aims to bring customers an unforgettable holiday.

13:00 : Welcome fresh drinks, wet towels and a special lunch of fresh food and an assortment of appetizing delicacies will be served. You will be enchanted when decadently dining on our luxury junk. 17:30 – 18:30 : Joining us for Cooking demonstration to learn how to make one of the most famous Vietnamese cuisines, the spring rolls. Or reach the top deck of cruise where the guests can admire the magnificent sunset over the Gulf of Tonkin.

7:30 – 9:00 : You will join the tour of Cat Ba World Biosphere by transshipment. It takes 30 minutes to transfer from Gia Luan to Trung Trang – one of the most impressive caves in Cat Ba island, Vietnam. The limestone cave has thousands of talactites in various shapes, offering geological values with a typical cave ecosystem.
9:30 : Return to the main boat from the cave and the guests will do the cabin check out. Luggage is placed outside of the cabin.
Lunch is served at the restaurant. Settle the bar bill by the desk at the restaurant (if any)
10:30 – 11:00 : Disembark the Mon Cheri Cruises and transferred back to Block #34, Big Bay group terminal, Tuan Chau Marina. Relax and wait for the luggage.

8:00 – 8:30: The guests are transferred to a day trip boat and set sail for the further Lan Ha Bay – cruising along the peaceful and quiet nature of the bay. Or you are free to relax on cruise if you do not like to move for a day trip.
10:30 – 11:00: After reaching Viet Hai jetty, the guest will have a great experience in cycling or having a ride on an e-cart to Viet Hai village through the tropical rainforest canopy and towering limestone mountains, also surrounded by the green.
Learn about the villager’s daily life and how people built and lived in the bamboo thatched houses; the earthen walls are made of straw and mud covered with trellis, forming walls to block rain and wind.
12:15 – 13:30: Return to the day trip boat and enjoy lunch at the restaurant while the boat is cruising to the kayaking and swimming spot.
13:30: Explore the secluded and quiet lagoon by kayaks or having a swim off the boat is a great fun.
16:30: Head back to the Mon Cheri Cruises to relax. Have a soak in the Jacuzzi mini pool. Enjoy the music and your favorite drinks by the pool.

Cancellation by Mon Chéri Cruises
We Reserve the right to cancel your booking under some unavoidable circumstances as follows: weather conditions, wars, civil strife, industrial disputes, natural disasters, terrorism, or under orders from the Local Authority. Please note that we may have to cancel your trip due to bad weather conditions to guarantee the safety of all guests.
The following policies will be applied for bad weather :
- If the Cancellation is informed before guests leave Hanoi to Hai Phong ( and guests have not used any service yet): 100% refund.
- If the Cancellation is informed during the trip (guests have already used some services: transfer, lunch, day trip, hotel in Ha Long Bay, etc): Only the actual fee of these services will be charged and we will refund the whole of the remaining amount.
- If the Cancellation is informed before 8:00 a.m, the trip will be shortened from 3 days/2 nights to 2 days/1 night.
- If the Cancellation is informed when our guest has already spent 1st night and taken part in the 2nd day activities on the DAY CRUISE (Sunset) until 3:00-5:00pm, there will be a charge 75% of the 3 days 2 nights package.
The Cancellation of the Cruise will be announced ONLY by Hai Phong Local Port Authority and often at short notice. Therefore your kind understanding in this situation is highly appreciated.

It took us only 2 hours drive to Lan Ha Bay including a short break at the crafts center for toilet and shopping. The boat was at the perfect size. The cabin was lovely and spacious for a cruise with well-equipped bathroom. The staffs were super friendly and attentive, they made everything become easy. We really enjoyed all the activities (swimming and kayaking in Three Peach beach area, boat rowing to Dark and Bright cave, …). We will definitely come back and do this again.

Thanks to Mon Chéri cruise and your team. We had a great and memorable time in Lan Ha Bay forever. It was a regret that I could book 3 day 2 night cruise instead of 2 day 1 night. The boat was very charming with just around 20 guests on boat. The itineraries were really well organized so we were not rush to join. Our cabin was lovely with jacuzzi, bath tub and private balcony. The staff was always hard-working, funny and kind. The most activity I like on this cruise was the best dinner with Vietnamese tradition music play. I would definitely choose Mon Chéri if I come back!
