I was impressed about Halong bay with Mon Chéri cruise. From timely pick-up to drop-off by a Limousine, everything was smooth and very well organized. Mon Chéri Cruise is one of the most luxurious five-star cruises in Halong Bay which was voted one of the seven New Wonders in the world. Newly launched in early 2018, Mon Chéri Cruise aims to bring customers an unforgettable holiday.

12:00 : The crew members of Mon Cheri Cruise will welcome you at No.34, Tuan Chau Marina, Quang Ninh.
12.30 : You will be taken aboard our support vessel and travel from the wharf via the bay to board our luxurious craft, Mon Chéri Cruise. Itinerary briefing is announced during this time.
13:00 : Welcome fresh drinks, wet towels and a special lunch of fresh food and an assortment of appetizing delicacies will be served. You will be enchanted when decadently dining on our luxury junk. 17:30 – 18:30 : Joining us for Cooking demonstration to learn how to make one of the most famous Vietnamese cuisines, the spring rolls. Or reach the top deck of cruise where the guests can admire the magnificent sunset over the Gulf of Tonkin.

6:45 – 7:15 : Breakfast is served while cruising back to Gia Luan jetty. (Breakfast time maybe adjust and follow the real itinerary)
7:30 – 9:00 : You will join the tour of Cat Ba World Biosphere by transshipment. It takes 30 minutes to transfer from Gia Luan to Trung Trang – one of the most impressive caves in Cat Ba island, Vietnam. The limestone cave has thousands of talactites in various shapes, offering geological values with a typical cave ecosystem.
9:30 : Return to the main boat from the cave and the guests will do the cabin check out. Luggage is placed outside of the cabin.
Lunch is served at the restaurant. Settle the bar bill by the desk at the restaurant (if any)
10:30 – 11:00 : Disembark the Mon Cheri Cruises and transferred back to Block #34, Big Bay group terminal, Tuan Chau Marina. Relax and wait for the luggage.

8:00 – 8:30: The guests are transferred to a day trip boat and set sail for the further Lan Ha Bay – cruising along the peaceful and quiet nature of the bay. Or you are free to relax on cruise if you do not like to move for a day trip.
10:30 – 11:00: After reaching Viet Hai jetty, the guest will have a great experience in cycling or having a ride on an e-cart to Viet Hai village through the tropical rainforest canopy and towering limestone mountains, also surrounded by the green.
Learn about the villager’s daily life and how people built and lived in the bamboo thatched houses; the earthen walls are made of straw and mud covered with trellis, forming walls to block rain and wind.
12:15 – 13:30: Return to the day trip boat and enjoy lunch at the restaurant while the boat is cruising to the kayaking and swimming spot.
13:30: Explore the secluded and quiet lagoon by kayaks or having a swim off the boat is a great fun.
16:30: Head back to the Mon Cheri Cruises to relax. Have a soak in the Jacuzzi mini pool. Enjoy the music and your favorite drinks by the pool.

Cancellation by Mon Chéri Cruises
We Reserve the right to cancel your booking under some unavoidable circumstances as follows: weather conditions, wars, civil strife, industrial disputes, natural disasters, terrorism, or under orders from the Local Authority. Please note that we may have to cancel your trip due to bad weather conditions to guarantee the safety of all guests.
The following policies will be applied for bad weather :
- If the Cancellation is informed before guests leave Hanoi to Hai Phong ( and guests have not used any service yet): 100% refund.
- If the Cancellation is informed during the trip (guests have already used some services: transfer, lunch, day trip, hotel in Ha Long Bay, etc): Only the actual fee of these services will be charged and we will refund the whole of the remaining amount.
- If the Cancellation is informed before 8:00 a.m, the trip will be shortened from 3 days/2 nights to 2 days/1 night.
- If the Cancellation is informed when our guest has already spent 1st night and taken part in the 2nd day activities on the DAY CRUISE (Sunset) until 3:00-5:00pm, there will be a charge 75% of the 3 days 2 nights package.
The Cancellation of the Cruise will be announced ONLY by Hai Phong Local Port Authority and often at short notice. Therefore your kind understanding in this situation is highly appreciated.

It was just perfect ! Although we are vegan, but once giving them the notice, everyday we had special meals that were just AWESOME in Vietnamese style… That was soooo good. Everybody was very helpful, kind, and friendly! They did everything to make us happy. The boat is new, very beautiful. The activities were great. We highly recommend that cruise !!

We have a 2-day cruise with Mon Cheri. The service, as so often in Vietnam, is just incredibly good. We were picked up with a luxury bus (on time) and could enjoy the ride in leather seats and free Wi-Fi. Already on arrival, the employees waved to us and at lunch time we knew what a great choice we met. For lunch there was already a 6 course menu; from shrimp to spring rolls to chicken everything was there. What I remembered most positively was the fact that it was still loose in terms of dress code (wearing shorts at dinner). The ship itself was still very new and to the complete satisfaction. From the upper deck you had a beautiful view of Halong Bay. The cabin was a dream. With only 1 night you did not know what to do first. There was also a cooking class, night fishing, kayaking and a cave tour.
As a farewell there was even a cashmere scarf. As a result, there can be only 5 stars here!

We did the one-night cruising and it was simply wonderful. From the beginning to the end. The spectacular treatment, the delicious and elegant food, the fantastic excursions … everything.
We had a problem with our room and it was not working well the air conditioning … we have complained and although they fixed, in the end they changed our room and we got the 303 …. wonderful, huge, with jacuzzi and sofa Massages … spectacular.
Thanks to Mr. Huong for making the cruise so perfect for everyone, you are amazing!

It was my honeymoon in HaLong Bay on a nice cruise with a good price. Within two days, I was having so much fun with a lot of activities. The staff there were very friendly. The cabin was huge and luxurious. I would highly recommend that you take HaLong Bay trip on the Mon Cheri Cruise.
