The ship was really lovely and unique compared to others in the bay. The rooms looked like the pcitures which is always a really good sign. The food was enough for me and husband and kids. Of course the bay was serrine.

Day 1: TUAN CHAU - HA LONG BAY – LAN HA BAY – TRA BAU
8:30 – 8:50 :A limousine bus picks the guests up at your hotel in the old quarter.
12:00 :The crew members of Peony Cruises will welcome you at No.34, Tuan Chau Marina, Quang Ninh.
12:30 :You will be taken aboard our support vessel and travel from the wharf via the bay to board our luxurious craft, Peony Cruises. Itinerary briefing is announced during this time.
13.00 : Welcome fresh drinks, wet towels and a special lunch of fresh food and an assortment of appetizing delicacies will be served. You will be enchanted when decadently dining on our luxury junk. Life just doesn’t get better than this! We then set sail for Lan Ha Bay – A member of the World’s Most Beautiful Bays.
Enjoy the delicious luncheon of fresh seafood and an assortment of appetizing delicacies while cruising along Lan Ha bay with the breathtaking scenery.
15:30 : Visiting Tra Bau area where has known as an area famous for its unspoiled, poetic natural beauty and attractive seascape of Lan Ha Bay. This is the best time for kayaking to discover the truest beauty of the limestone islands. Immerse yourself in the emerald green water of the bay or enjoy the Jacuzzi pool on the Peony Cruises.
17:30 – 18:30 : Joining us for Cooking demonstration to learn how to make one of the most famous Vietnamese cuisines, the spring rolls. Or reach the top deck of cruise where the guests can admire the magnificent sunset over the Gulf of Tonkin.
Enjoy a Happy Hour time – BUY ONE GET ONE FREE at the bar. It is an ideal time for photography enthusiasts to capture the greatest moment of sunset over Lan Ha Bay.

Day 2: LAN HA BAY – CAT BA ISLAND – TUAN CHAU
6:00 : Begin the day full of energy with the Tai Chi session and enjoy the sun just rising up beyond the horizon.
6:45 – 7:15 : Breakfast is served while cruising back to Gia Luan jetty. (Breakfast time maybe adjust and follow the real itinerary)
7:30 – 9:00 : You will join the tour of Cat Ba World Biosphere by transshipment. It takes 30 minutes to transfer from Gia Luan to Trung Trang – one of the most impressive caves in Cat Ba island, Vietnam. The limestone cave has thousands of talactites in various shapes, offering geological values with a typical cave ecosystem.
9:30 : Return to the main boat from the cave and the guests will do the cabin check out. Luggage is placed outside of the cabin. Lunch is served at the restaurant. Settle the bar bill by the desk at the restaurant (if any)
10:30 – 11:00 Disembark the Peony Cruises and transferred back to Block #34, Big Bay group terminal, Tuan Chau Marina. Relax and wait for the luggage.
11:30 – 12:00 The guests are ready at Tuan Chau Marina.

Day 2: LAN HA BAY – VIET HAI VILLAGE – THREE PEACHES AREA
6:00 : Begin the day full of energy with the Tai Chi session and enjoy the sunrise over the bay.
6:45 – 7.15 : Breakfast is served at the restaurant.
8:00 – 8:30 : The guests are transferred to a day trip boat and set sail for the further Lan Ha Bay – cruising along the peaceful and quiet nature of the bay. Or you are free to relax on cruise if you do not like to move for a day trip.
10:30 – 11:00 : After reaching Viet Hai jetty, the guest will have a great experience in cycling or having a ride on an e-cart to Viet Hai village through the tropical rainforest canopy and towering limestone mountains, also surrounded by the green.
Learn about the villager’s daily life and how people built and lived in the bamboo thatched houses; the earthen walls are made of straw and mud covered with trellis, forming walls to block rain and wind.
12:15 – 13:30 : Return to the day trip boat and enjoy lunch at the restaurant while the boat is cruising to the kayaking and swimming spot.
13:30 : Explore the secluded and quiet lagoon by kayaks or having a swim off the boat is a great fun.
16:30 : Head back to the Peony Cruises to relax. Have a soak in the Jacuzzi pool. Enjoy the music and your favorite drinks by the pool.
17:30 – 18:30 : Enjoy “happy hour” on the deck and BUY ONE GET ONE FREE. Watch the sunset falling on the bay.
Attend the cooking demonstration to learn the different type of the Vietnamese spring rolls.

The later changes or downward adjustments to the number of guests of the reservation will be considered late cancellation and the charged fee will be applied below. Upward adjustment will be confirmed based on the actual situation of availability.

We Reserve the right to cancel your booking under some unavoidable circumstances as follows: weather conditions, wars, civil strife, industrial disputes, natural disasters, terrorism, or under orders from the Local Authority. Please note that we may have to cancel your trip due to bad weather conditions to guarantee the safety of all guests.
The following policies will be applied for bad weather :
- If the Cancellation is informed before guests leave Hanoi to Hai Phong ( and guests have not used any service yet): 100% refund.
- If the Cancellation is informed during the trip (guests have already used some services: transfer, lunch, day trip, hotel in Ha Long Bay, etc): Only the actual fee of these services will be charged and we will refund the whole of the remaining amount.
- If the Cancellation is informed before 8:00 a.m, the trip will be shortened from 3 days/2 nights to 2 days/1 night.
- If the Cancellation is informed when our guest has already spent 1st night and taken part in the 2nd day activities on the DAY CRUISE (Sunset) until 3:00-5:00pm, there will be a charge 75% of the 3 days 2 nights package.
The Cancellation of the Cruise will be announced ONLY by Hai Phong Local Port Authority and often at short notice. Therefore your kind understanding in this situation is highly appreciated.

The Peony cruise was absolutely amazing! My husband wanted to treat me to something unique and I couldn’t ask for more. We were able to see some of the most beautiful scenery in the world from the balcony of our suite. Peony Cruise is the best! It wasn’t my first time in Halong Bay, so I could clearly see what a fantastic job they do on this luxury ship. You really feel welcome with them, from the very moment you arrive. I had a great time participating in all the on-board activities – I found myself to be a decent cook and to my great surprise, not so bad at Tai Chi at all!Definitely worth your time and money, by all means book with Peony Cruises!

Everything they do during your stay with them & all the services are carefully arranged so that you can have a wonderful time (we really appreciated this after so many poor-quality experiences when travelling around Asia). We went to Halong Bay with Peony Cruises and we couldn’t be happier about it! The bay is really worth all the hype, even though it does get a little crowded. Still, it’s one of those places you have to see in your life, no doubt about it.As for the ship, Peony is just wonderful! It looks really luxurious, the food is amazing and the staff treat you with a lot of kindness. And as for our room – we treated ourselves with an exclusive suite for this trip – it’s absolutely wonderful! A marvelous experience!
