17:30 – 18:30 : Joining us for Cooking demonstration to learn how to make one of the most famous Vietnamese cuisines, the spring rolls. Or reach the top deck of cruise where the guests can admire the magnificent sunset over the Gulf of Tonkin.
Enjoy a Happy Hour time – BUY ONE GET ONE FREE at the bar. It is an ideal time for photography enthusiasts to capture the greatest moment of sunset over Lan Ha Bay.

6:00 : Begin the day full of energy with the Tai Chi session and enjoy the sun just rising up beyond the horizon.
6:45 – 7:15 : Breakfast is served while cruising back to Gia Luan jetty. (Breakfast time maybe adjust and follow the real itinerary)
7:30 – 9:00 : You will join the tour of Cat Ba World Biosphere by transshipment. It takes 30 minutes to transfer from Gia Luan to Trung Trang – one of the most impressive caves in Cat Ba island, Vietnam. The limestone cave has thousands of talactites in various shapes, offering geological values with a typical cave ecosystem.
9:30 : Return to the main boat from the cave and the guests will do the cabin check out. Luggage is placed outside of the cabin. Lunch is served at the restaurant. Settle the bar bill by the desk at the restaurant (if any)
10:30 – 11:00 Disembark the Peony Cruises and transferred back to Block #34, Big Bay group terminal, Tuan Chau Marina. Relax and wait for the luggage.

8:00 – 8:30 : The guests are transferred to a day trip boat and set sail for the further Lan Ha Bay – cruising along the peaceful and quiet nature of the bay. Or you are free to relax on cruise if you do not like to move for a day trip.
10:30 – 11:00 : After reaching Viet Hai jetty, the guest will have a great experience in cycling or having a ride on an e-cart to Viet Hai village through the tropical rainforest canopy and towering limestone mountains, also surrounded by the green.
Learn about the villager’s daily life and how people built and lived in the bamboo thatched houses; the earthen walls are made of straw and mud covered with trellis, forming walls to block rain and wind.
12:15 – 13:30 : Return to the day trip boat and enjoy lunch at the restaurant while the boat is cruising to the kayaking and swimming spot.
13:30 : Explore the secluded and quiet lagoon by kayaks or having a swim off the boat is a great fun.
16:30 : Head back to the Peony Cruises to relax. Have a soak in the Jacuzzi pool. Enjoy the music and your favorite drinks by the pool.
17:30 – 18:30 : Enjoy “happy hour” on the deck and BUY ONE GET ONE FREE. Watch the sunset falling on the bay.

We Reserve the right to cancel your booking under some unavoidable circumstances as follows: weather conditions, wars, civil strife, industrial disputes, natural disasters, terrorism, or under orders from the Local Authority. Please note that we may have to cancel your trip due to bad weather conditions to guarantee the safety of all guests.
The following policies will be applied for bad weather :
- If the Cancellation is informed before guests leave Hanoi to Hai Phong ( and guests have not used any service yet): 100% refund.
- If the Cancellation is informed during the trip (guests have already used some services: transfer, lunch, day trip, hotel in Ha Long Bay, etc): Only the actual fee of these services will be charged and we will refund the whole of the remaining amount.
- If the Cancellation is informed before 8:00 a.m, the trip will be shortened from 3 days/2 nights to 2 days/1 night.
- If the Cancellation is informed when our guest has already spent 1st night and taken part in the 2nd day activities on the DAY CRUISE (Sunset) until 3:00-5:00pm, there will be a charge 75% of the 3 days 2 nights package.
The Cancellation of the Cruise will be announced ONLY by Hai Phong Local Port Authority and often at short notice. Therefore your kind understanding in this situation is highly appreciated.

Peony Cruise is the best! It wasn’t my first time in Halong Bay, so I could clearly see what a fantastic job they do on this luxury ship. You really feel welcome with them, from the very moment you arrive. I had a great time participating in all the on-board activities – I found myself to be a decent cook and to my great surprise, not so bad at Tai Chi at all!Definitely worth your time and money, by all means book with Peony Cruises!

If you’re looking for a professional cruising company, then let me tell you that Peony Cruises certainly deliver! Everything they do during your stay with them & all the services are carefully arranged so that you can have a wonderful time (we really appreciated this after so many poor-quality experiences when travelling around Asia). The service and the smiling staff, the delicious food they serve, my deluxe room – oh, and there’s also that bay you can see when you look out of the your (panoramic) window! We went to Halong Bay with Peony Cruises and we couldn’t be happier about it! The bay is really worth all the hype, even though it does get a little crowded. Still, it’s one of those places you have to see in your life, no doubt about it.As for the ship, Peony is just wonderful! It looks really luxurious, the food is amazing and the staff treat you with a lot of kindness. And as for our room – we treated ourselves with an exclusive suite for this trip – it’s absolutely wonderful! A marvelous experience!

Everything about Peony Cruises is amazing! Our guides spoke fluent English and had a good sense of humor. The rest of the staff were very accommodating and arranged everything we needed without any issue. It was very reassuring because they always had smiles on their faces. We did lots of activities, we had delicious food, and we had great time exchanging pleasantries with the other guests. The boat was incredibly clean and the views from our massive windows were jaw-dropping!
