Kudos to the staff of Peony Cruises for always making sure all our needs were attended to. They were very friendly and spoke good English. The entire ship, from the bow to the stern, was very clean. The food was really good, especially the Vietnamese dishes. And of course, our private cabin was awesome, gave us the best views of Halong Bay, even while taking a bath!

6:45 – 7:15 : Breakfast is served while cruising back to Gia Luan jetty. (Breakfast time maybe adjust and follow the real itinerary)
7:30 – 9:00 : You will join the tour of Cat Ba World Biosphere by transshipment. It takes 30 minutes to transfer from Gia Luan to Trung Trang – one of the most impressive caves in Cat Ba island, Vietnam. The limestone cave has thousands of talactites in various shapes, offering geological values with a typical cave ecosystem.
9:30 : Return to the main boat from the cave and the guests will do the cabin check out. Luggage is placed outside of the cabin. Lunch is served at the restaurant. Settle the bar bill by the desk at the restaurant (if any)
10:30 – 11:00 Disembark the Peony Cruises and transferred back to Block #34, Big Bay group terminal, Tuan Chau Marina. Relax and wait for the luggage.

8:00 – 8:30 : The guests are transferred to a day trip boat and set sail for the further Lan Ha Bay – cruising along the peaceful and quiet nature of the bay. Or you are free to relax on cruise if you do not like to move for a day trip.
10:30 – 11:00 : After reaching Viet Hai jetty, the guest will have a great experience in cycling or having a ride on an e-cart to Viet Hai village through the tropical rainforest canopy and towering limestone mountains, also surrounded by the green.
Learn about the villager’s daily life and how people built and lived in the bamboo thatched houses; the earthen walls are made of straw and mud covered with trellis, forming walls to block rain and wind.
12:15 – 13:30 : Return to the day trip boat and enjoy lunch at the restaurant while the boat is cruising to the kayaking and swimming spot.
13:30 : Explore the secluded and quiet lagoon by kayaks or having a swim off the boat is a great fun.
16:30 : Head back to the Peony Cruises to relax. Have a soak in the Jacuzzi pool. Enjoy the music and your favorite drinks by the pool.

We Reserve the right to cancel your booking under some unavoidable circumstances as follows: weather conditions, wars, civil strife, industrial disputes, natural disasters, terrorism, or under orders from the Local Authority. Please note that we may have to cancel your trip due to bad weather conditions to guarantee the safety of all guests.
The following policies will be applied for bad weather :
- If the Cancellation is informed before guests leave Hanoi to Hai Phong ( and guests have not used any service yet): 100% refund.
- If the Cancellation is informed during the trip (guests have already used some services: transfer, lunch, day trip, hotel in Ha Long Bay, etc): Only the actual fee of these services will be charged and we will refund the whole of the remaining amount.
- If the Cancellation is informed before 8:00 a.m, the trip will be shortened from 3 days/2 nights to 2 days/1 night.
- If the Cancellation is informed when our guest has already spent 1st night and taken part in the 2nd day activities on the DAY CRUISE (Sunset) until 3:00-5:00pm, there will be a charge 75% of the 3 days 2 nights package.
The Cancellation of the Cruise will be announced ONLY by Hai Phong Local Port Authority and often at short notice. Therefore your kind understanding in this situation is highly appreciated.

All the meals served seemed like they were prepared by a pro chef. No kidding! The cycling and kayaking were fun so I highly recommend them. We went for the 2 days – 1 night cruise for my 34th birthday. The ship is new and our room was luxurious with a private balcony that gave us magnificent views of the landscape. One thing that’s really commendable is how they were generous with the food. We were always full and had to chill on the roof deck! The trips were very well organized so we got to tour the attractions when there were fewer visitors(early morning cave tour). A luxury van picked us up from our hotel in Hanoi for a trip to the ferry terminal. A short transfer to the fabulous ship and we went straight to the restaurant to meet the staff and get a rundown of the itinerary. Our room was beautiful with a super comfy bed and a large bathroom. The first day of swimming and kayaking was great. Day two was a good group trip to Cat Ba Island. On day three we had an invigorating Tai Chi session on the sundeck then we visited some impressive caves. Overall, my wife and I enjoyed a lot and we were able to appreciate one of Mother Nature’s masterpieces – Halong Bay.
