Day 1: TUAN CHAU - HA LONG BAY – LAN HA BAY – TRA BAU
8:30 – 8:50 :A limousine bus picks the guests up at your hotel in the old quarter.
12:00 :The crew members of Peony Cruises will welcome you at No.34, Tuan Chau Marina, Quang Ninh.
12:30 :You will be taken aboard our support vessel and travel from the wharf via the bay to board our luxurious craft, Peony Cruises. Itinerary briefing is announced during this time.
13.00 : Welcome fresh drinks, wet towels and a special lunch of fresh food and an assortment of appetizing delicacies will be served. You will be enchanted when decadently dining on our luxury junk. Life just doesn’t get better than this! We then set sail for Lan Ha Bay – A member of the World’s Most Beautiful Bays.
Enjoy the delicious luncheon of fresh seafood and an assortment of appetizing delicacies while cruising along Lan Ha bay with the breathtaking scenery.
15:30 : Visiting Tra Bau area where has known as an area famous for its unspoiled, poetic natural beauty and attractive seascape of Lan Ha Bay. 17:30 – 18:30 : Joining us for Cooking demonstration to learn how to make one of the most famous Vietnamese cuisines, the spring rolls. Or reach the top deck of cruise where the guests can admire the magnificent sunset over the Gulf of Tonkin.

Day 2: LAN HA BAY – CAT BA ISLAND – TUAN CHAU
6:00 : Begin the day full of energy with the Tai Chi session and enjoy the sun just rising up beyond the horizon.
6:45 – 7:15 : Breakfast is served while cruising back to Gia Luan jetty. (Breakfast time maybe adjust and follow the real itinerary)
7:30 – 9:00 : You will join the tour of Cat Ba World Biosphere by transshipment. It takes 30 minutes to transfer from Gia Luan to Trung Trang – one of the most impressive caves in Cat Ba island, Vietnam. The limestone cave has thousands of talactites in various shapes, offering geological values with a typical cave ecosystem.
9:30 : Return to the main boat from the cave and the guests will do the cabin check out. Luggage is placed outside of the cabin. Lunch is served at the restaurant. Settle the bar bill by the desk at the restaurant (if any)
10:30 – 11:00 Disembark the Peony Cruises and transferred back to Block #34, Big Bay group terminal, Tuan Chau Marina. Relax and wait for the luggage.
11:30 – 12:00 The guests are ready at Tuan Chau Marina.

Day 2: LAN HA BAY – VIET HAI VILLAGE – THREE PEACHES AREA
6:00 : Begin the day full of energy with the Tai Chi session and enjoy the sunrise over the bay.
6:45 – 7.15 : Breakfast is served at the restaurant.
8:00 – 8:30 : The guests are transferred to a day trip boat and set sail for the further Lan Ha Bay – cruising along the peaceful and quiet nature of the bay. Or you are free to relax on cruise if you do not like to move for a day trip.
10:30 – 11:00 : After reaching Viet Hai jetty, the guest will have a great experience in cycling or having a ride on an e-cart to Viet Hai village through the tropical rainforest canopy and towering limestone mountains, also surrounded by the green.
Learn about the villager’s daily life and how people built and lived in the bamboo thatched houses; the earthen walls are made of straw and mud covered with trellis, forming walls to block rain and wind.
12:15 – 13:30 : Return to the day trip boat and enjoy lunch at the restaurant while the boat is cruising to the kayaking and swimming spot.
13:30 : Explore the secluded and quiet lagoon by kayaks or having a swim off the boat is a great fun.
16:30 : Head back to the Peony Cruises to relax. Have a soak in the Jacuzzi pool. Enjoy the music and your favorite drinks by the pool.
17:30 – 18:30 : Enjoy “happy hour” on the deck and BUY ONE GET ONE FREE. Watch the sunset falling on the bay.

The later changes or downward adjustments to the number of guests of the reservation will be considered late cancellation and the charged fee will be applied below. Upward adjustment will be confirmed based on the actual situation of availability.

We Reserve the right to cancel your booking under some unavoidable circumstances as follows: weather conditions, wars, civil strife, industrial disputes, natural disasters, terrorism, or under orders from the Local Authority. Please note that we may have to cancel your trip due to bad weather conditions to guarantee the safety of all guests.
The following policies will be applied for bad weather :
- If the Cancellation is informed before guests leave Hanoi to Hai Phong ( and guests have not used any service yet): 100% refund.
- If the Cancellation is informed during the trip (guests have already used some services: transfer, lunch, day trip, hotel in Ha Long Bay, etc): Only the actual fee of these services will be charged and we will refund the whole of the remaining amount.
- If the Cancellation is informed before 8:00 a.m, the trip will be shortened from 3 days/2 nights to 2 days/1 night.
- If the Cancellation is informed when our guest has already spent 1st night and taken part in the 2nd day activities on the DAY CRUISE (Sunset) until 3:00-5:00pm, there will be a charge 75% of the 3 days 2 nights package.
The Cancellation of the Cruise will be announced ONLY by Hai Phong Local Port Authority and often at short notice. Therefore your kind understanding in this situation is highly appreciated.

A luxury van picked us up from our hotel in Hanoi for a trip to the ferry terminal. A short transfer to the fabulous ship and we went straight to the restaurant to meet the staff and get a rundown of the itinerary. Our room was beautiful with a super comfy bed and a large bathroom. The first day of swimming and kayaking was great. Day two was a good group trip to Cat Ba Island. On day three we had an invigorating Tai Chi session on the sundeck then we visited some impressive caves. Overall, my wife and I enjoyed a lot and we were able to appreciate one of Mother Nature’s masterpieces – Halong Bay.

We love the activities especially the cooking class that made us learn more about Vietnamese cuisine and culture in general. The timing of each activity is excellent, enough for us to have fun and relax at the same time while getting to know some new friends. We love our room as it’s tastefully designed with our beds next to the window where we can just lay down and watch the fleeting scenery. Thanks to the staff who took care of all our needs and served some scrumptious dishes! Will definitely recommend Peony cruise to friends.

We’ve just arrived from a 3-day stay in a deluxe room of Peony Cruise. Everything was perfect, from the moment we arrived for check-in to the time we were escorted to our transfer for our trip back to our hotel in Hanoi. Luxurious cabins with panoramic views allowed us to take in the beauty of Halong Bay, whether lying on the bed, in the bath or lazing on our private deck. Food was to die for and the staff was very accommodating. We enjoyed the activities especially the day trip to Cat Ba Village, kayaking and swimming in a secluded beach.

We stayed on the boat for one night but wished we had stayed for the two nights ( there are two options available ). The cabin was very clean and we had a large double bed. The bathroom was big and very clean. The staff was amazing but the food average. There were extra activities during the trip. Don’t miss the morning swim. The view of the bay just amazing , especially the sunset!

Peony Cruise was recommended and booked by Ha Long Hub, a good choice! We opted for a premium on the higher deck, definitely worth the additional cost. Crew very attentive and food better than expected. Do an 2 nights trip if you can, for the night-time atmosphere when moored up and see dawn twice in Halong Bay, great stuff.
