12h45: You will be taken aboard our support vessel and travel from the wharf via the bay to board our luxurious craft, Mon Chéri Cruise.

Welcome fresh drinks, wet towels, and a special lunch of fresh food, and an assortment of appetizing delicacies will be served.

You will be enchanted when decadently dining on our luxury junk. Life just doesn’t get better than this! We then set sail for Lan Ha Bay – A member of the World’s Most Beautiful Bays.

15h00: We will visit the Dark and Bright cave, famous for Lan Ha Bay’s pristine natural beauty and poetic, attractive seascape. Here you will take some photos of the romantic, lyrical local see-sights.

This is also the best time for tourists to enjoy bamboo boats or kayaking which is an interesting activity to discover the truest beauty of the limestone mountains and the blue sky of Lan Ha Bay.

16h30: Return to Mon Chéri Cruises. It is an ideal time for photography enthusiasts to capture the stunning moment of sunset at Lan Ha Bay.

17h30-18h30: Join the cooking demonstration and “happy hour” with buy one get 1 free.

Day 2: Lan Ha Bay – Tuan Chau Port

06h00: Start your day full of energy with a Tai-chi class on the deck and watch the sunrise.

06h45-07h15: A light breakfast is available at the restaurant with tea, coffee, traditional Pho or Bun Ca, and cakes (breakfast time can change due to the itinerary).

07h30-09h00: You will join the tour of Cat Ba World Biosphere by transshipment. It takes 30 minutes to transfer from Gia Luan to Trung Trang – one of the most impressive caves in Cat Ba island, Vietnam.

The limestone cave has thousands of stalactites in various shapes, offering geological values with a typical cave ecosystem.

09h30: Checking out of the room. Then the lunch in the restaurant is ready for you, pay the extra fee (if any) at the reception while traveling to the port.

Kindly needed pay for the costs in charge of the front desk (if any) while traveling to the port.

10h30-11h00: Disembark and move back to the port.

08h00-08h30: You will be transferred to the day tour cruise to visit the bay to go further than Lan Ha Bay. During cruising time, you can admire the beauty of the Bay with thousand islets.

10h30-11h00: You start the journey to discover Viet Hai village, a peaceful village with extremely beautiful scenery by bike or tram along the trails, through vast rice fields. You stop to rest and visit the old house made from straw, mud, bamboo … find out the lives of local people.

12h15-13h30: Return to the day tour cruise. You will be served lunch with a variety of dishes at the restaurant.

13h30: The cruise takes you to the pristine beach area, you are free to swim or participate in kayaking activities.

Later changes or downward adjustments to the number of guests of the reservation will be considered a late cancellation and a fee will be applied as below. An upward adjustment will be confirmed and charged based on the situation of actual availability.

  • Up to 20 days before your cruise date: Free of charge
  • 15 -19 days before your cruise date: 50% of the total price
  • 7 – 14 days before your cruise date: 70% of the total price
  •  Less than 7 days: Full charge

  • 35 -50 days before your cruise date: 20% of the total price

Refunds due to bad weather will be issued based on the length of the tour already completed.

All cruises in Ha Long Bay and Lan Ha Bay which want to stop overnight in the Bay must be licensed to manage the Bay and provide safe service.

In the days of bad weather (rainstorms, high winds, big waves, etc.), the Bay management board will consider giving a license or not to the overnight cruise provider to ensure the safety of tourists.

In such a case, we will apply the following policies:

  1. If you arrive at the harbor and have lunch, then go back to Hanoi, we will charge only lunch service + the transfer (if taken).
  2. If you arrive at the harbor and have lunch, visit Halong bay within 5 hours, then go back to Hanoi, we will charge only for the daily cruise trip, entrance fee, lunch and the transfer (if taken).
  3. If you arrive at the harbor and have lunch, visit areas in the bay, stay overnight on a cruise, the next day, have breakfast and go sightseeing, have lunch, then go back to Hanoi, we will charge for the 2 days 1 night price for cruise trip + the transfer (if taken).
  4. If you arrive at the harbor and have a lunch, visit areas in the bay, stay overnight on a cruise, the next day have breakfast and go sightseeing, have lunch, visit the bay within 5 hours, then go back to Hanoi, we will charge for the 2 days 1 night price and 5 hours on a daily cruise trip, lunch, entrance fee + the transfer (if taken).

Note:

The Bay Management Board often gives notice to cancel the overnight sleep permit, possibly while you are on the tour. In such situations, we would like to ask for your understanding about it.

The rainy season from August to October in Ha Long Bay and Lan Ha Bay often has very unusual weather conditions, so overnight cruises in the bay can be canceled unexpectedly, and often with very late notice.

In all cases, please contact our staff, we will always do our best to ensure your satisfaction.

Mon Cheri Cruise Lan Ha Bay FAQ’s

Yes, you can swim in Halong Bay, Vietnam. However, it's essential to consider factors such as water quality, jellyfish presence, boat traffic, and weather conditions for safety.

While guests are welcome to bring their own beverages aboard, please note that there are corkage fees in place: $30 USD per spirit or wine bottle, and $5 USD per beer or soft drink. Additionally, the onboard bar is conveniently open 24/7, ensuring that refreshments are readily available whenever desired.

We have a children's play area with games and toys. Parents can book our babysitting services.

Vietnamese style electrical sockets are available in all suites. 220 volts, as is standard throughout hotels in Vietnam. You will need a plug converter if you are not using the same voltage.

Yes, we provide wifi on our cruise and on the bus. But sometimes the wifi is not good in some places in Halong Bay.
